This policy explains what information Grand Central Hotel, Inc., doing business as Zeigler's Restaurant & Tavern ("Zeigler's", "we", "us"), collects when you use zeiglerstavern.com or order from us online, and how we use it.

Information we collect

Order details you give us: your first and last name, email address, phone number, the items you order and any special requests.
Your texting choice: whether you agreed at checkout to receive text messages about your order.
Payment: card payments are handled by our payment processor, Stripe, on its own secure page. We never see or store your full card number.
Basic website data: a cookie that keeps your cart while you order, and standard server logs (such as your IP address and browser type) kept by our web host.

How we use it

To prepare your order and have it ready for pickup.
To contact you about your order, for example if we have a question or your pickup time changes.
To send you order update text messages, only if you agreed to them at checkout.
To keep records of sales, and to meet our legal and tax obligations.

We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell it.

Text messages (SMS)

If you tick "Text me about this order" at checkout, we will text the phone number you entered with updates about that order, such as your pickup time. Message frequency varies, usually 1–2 messages per order. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help. Agreeing to texts is never required to place an order.

We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the categories of sharing below exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Who we share it with

We share information only with companies that help us run online ordering, and only as needed for that job:

Stripe, to process your card payment.
Twilio, our texting provider, to deliver the order texts you agreed to.
Our website host, which stores the website and order records.

We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect our customers, staff or business.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as we need them for business, accounting and tax purposes. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, as described below.

Security

Our website uses a secure (HTTPS) connection, and card payments are handled entirely by Stripe. No website is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Children

Online ordering is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

To stop texts, reply STOP to any message from us.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the date above.
